First Baptist Church of Mineola


Chartered in 1978 as a ministry of First Mineola, the Playschool has the goal of helping each child grow as Jesus grew: physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
Ages - Younger Class - 3 years old by September 1st; Older Class - 4 years old by September 1st.
Times/Dates - Classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30-11AM; Afternoon classes from 12:15-2:45PM (upon availability).  The MISD calendar is followed for holidays.
Fees - Registration Fee - $15 per child; Annual Supply Fee - $50 per child; Annual Tuition - $675 per year, available in nine payments of $75 per month (2 children $130 per month).  Tuition due 1st of Month, beginning September 1st.
Accreditation – the Playschool is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and is a member of the Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Association.

Kids Day Out (K.D.O.)  
K.D.O. is a program held most Friday's during the school-calendar year, with occasional closings due to holidays or special events.  K.D.O. does not meet in June, July or August.

AGES
The program is open to children ages 12 months by September 1st through 5 years (Pre-K).  These ages are divided into four age tracks.  

ENROLLMENT
Families are rquired to complete a K.D.O. enrollment form for each child participating.  At each session, parents will complete a sign-in sheet regarding contact information for that particular day.  Enrollment for the next Fall will begin in February.  Openings are limited.

FEES
K.D.O. fees are pre-paid.
$20 a day per child
$35 a day for two siblings
Fees will be paid at sign-in on Friday mornings.  
Multiple sessions may be paid in advance, if desired.

SUPPLIES
Children should wear comfortable play clothes and shoes.Younger children may need a diaper bag and a change of clothes, and a "sippy" cup.  Please label all items.
A morning snack is provided by K.D.O.  For lunch, children should bring a sack lunch of finger foods with a drink.  Please do not send food that must be cut up or heated.
